Thousands of Italian women took to the streets in the Italian cities and abroad on Sunday protesting against Premier Silvio Berlusconi’s behavior towards women, euronews reported.
The protestors gathered under the slogan “if not now then when” demanded Premier’s resignation. The demonstration was organized in the wake of recent sex scandals involving Berlusconi.
Sex scandals involving Italian PM often appear in top news worldwide. Moreover, he has recently faced allegations for having sex with 17-old belly dancer.
The protestors say Premier’s behavior is discrediting Italian women who have a horrible image abroad due to Berlusconi’s scandals. Many of them claim women are not involved in political and business life of the country.
