The fate of Georgian sailors who are in Libya on board the Georgian ship is unknown.

A ship transporting construction materials from Turkey to Libya was cut in a storm and was damaged. The cargo was damaged as well and the customer refused to receive it.

The ship’s crew has been held in Libya for a year waiting for court’s decision on the dispute between the ship owner and the consignee of the cargo, reported Georgia online.

According to sailors’ relatives, they are in terrible conditions and lately have not communicated over the Internet.
