“A man from Michigan posed as a psychologist and convinced mothers to abuse their children as a form of therapy and send him the pictures of the attacks,” msnbc website reports.
After he was arrested in October, seven kids were rescued and at least three mothers arrested. The police say at the moment all children are safe.
“Steven Demink, 41, faces 15 years in prison when he is sentenced in June. The man targeted single mothers and in some cases, promised a date if they followed all his directions,” the source says.
“Demink told these women that the result of the therapy would be healthier children,” the court said in a document.
