On the coasts of the South African Republic, a shark hurt the fisher who had tried to extend a helping hand, reports Lenta.ru, referring to The Herald.
The 2.5-meter shark accidentally found itself in the net of a fishing boat who was fishing 55 kilometers away from the city of Port Elizabeth. The 46-year-old member of the team approached the shark to release it, but the shark caught onto the man’s shoulder and the forearm of his left hand with its teeth.
The fishers wrapped a bandage on the mans’ wounds and let the shark go. The fishers sent a message about the accident and headed towards Port Elizabeth. They managed to transfer the man to the local hospital. He is in stable condition.
