Washington’s threats to Ankara for purchasing the Russian S-400 missile systems are reckless and won’t lead to any results. This is what Spokesman of Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party Ömer Çelik said, reports RIA Novosti.

“The U.S. government’s threats in regard to the S-400 missile systems are reckless and pose a threat to reconsider Turkey’s participation in the F-35 program. This has already gone beyond reasonable limits. Such rhetoric won’t lead to anything. All problems between allies need to be solved through dialogue. Turkey won’t respond to threats,” Çelik told journalists, adding that the S-400 missile systems sold to Turkey won’t be sold to third countries.
