The Defense Committee of the House of Commons of the UK Parliament published a report and placed responsibility on Russia for the suspension of the INF treaty, Forces reported. 

According to MPs, they will not be able to keep the INF Treaty, since Russia refuses to fulfill the terms of the agreement. Consequently, NATO needs to find a way to respond to Moscow’s actions in a way that meets the priorities of the member states of the alliance.

Julian Lewis, chair of the Defense Committee, said the European continent is "less safe as a result of the Russian decision to develop missiles in contravention of the INF Treaty”.

"The UK was not a party to this treaty but, like all other NATO members, we must consider the implications of Russian deployment - once again - of missiles designed to threaten Western Europe and decouple the United States from the rest of NATO in a crisis," he added.

The report mentions US thesis that Russia has developed a 9M729 missile for the Iskander M complex, the range of which exceeds the 500-kilometer limit set by the treaty.
