A schoolteacher has brutally beaten a schoolboy in Baku.

Haqqin.az reports that information that a 7th grade schoolboy received a craniocerebral injury from his teacher’s beating has been confirmed. Earlier, the school’s administration had reported that “the child unexpectedly fell during his math lesson and received an injury”.

However, when the schoolboy was transferred to a hospital, he said his teacher had beaten him.

“There were five or six people at the hospital. Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science and law-enforcement authorities were also there. We examined the child and recommended that he stay under doctors’ supervision at the hospital, but the schoolboy’s father signed a paper and took him home,” the doctors said.
