Deterioration of the quality of water in Lake Sevan is due to the lack of endemic fish in the lake. This is what Head of the Center for Protection of Rights of Armenian Businessmen and Consumers NGO Artur Atoyan told journalists today.

According to him, due to this, the feed that is given to fish in the net, reaches the floor, and this leads to the emergence of phosphorus and blossoming.

Artur Atoyan noted that non-governmental organizations can raise issues and suggest solutions, but state institutions need to act first.
