Yerevan Сity Hall has allocated AMD 1 billion 726 million to solve garbage issues.

The corresponding decision was made on Friday at a meeting of the Council of Elders of Yerevan.

It is planned to spend AMD 1 billion 571 million on the purchase of transport equipment (including five ambulances, 21 multifunctional vehicles, 22 snow removal machines for sidewalks, 10 rear loading garbage trucks, three containers washing machines).

Another AMD 155 million will be spent on the acquisition of 1000 new containers for household waste to replace unusable containers.

To balance the administrative and fund parts of the budget, it is proposed to increase allocations from the reserve fund to the fund budget by AMD 1 billion 600 million.
