There is a need to understand how businesses can take part in the formation of platforms for cooperation. This is what Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told journalists today.

According to him, Armenia needs to show its foreign partners the reality in Armenia so that they can implement their business plans more effectively. The minister emphasized the fact that the government aspires to ensure the necessary platform for businesses to work more effectively. “As a state body, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the potential that can help create platforms for the cooperation of businesses. We need to clearly state what we want, how we are going to use our resources with maximum efficiency, what markets interest us and where our resources need to be used. The strong connection between IT associations serves as a good example. This format needs to be ensured in other branches of economy as well. The basis is the cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economy so that we can ensure more success in this direction,” Zohrab Mnatsakanyan concluded.

Representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economy of Armenia and the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to foreign countries today participated in discussions under the title “Reinterpreting Communication in International Economic Relations” in Yerevan.
