Police have detained a man armed with two knives at the French Grenoble railway station, Le Figaro reports.
The young man born in 2000 shouted religious slogans; he was born in Algeria.
The perpetrator refused to give up the weapon at the request of the police, who were forced to use force.
The case was referred to the prosecutor's office for further investigation.
