YEREVAN. – The government of Armenia today extended the term of lawyer Vahe Demirchyan’s mission at the Department for the Execution of Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) for one year, until December 31, 2020.

According to the respective justification, the presence of a lawyer at the aforesaid department of the Council of Europe (CoE) Secretariat allows timely and proper work on judgments regarding Armenia in the execution of these judgments, as well as providing expected information to the CoE Committee of Ministers, which has often been useful to Armenia’s representative and permanent representation at the CoE.
