YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper writes: Director of the “Director of Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology” CJSC Company Razmik Abrahamyan, Deputy Director Arshak Jgerjeryan, and, “Yerevan Children’s Home” SNCO Director Liana Karapetyan were detained yesterday on suspicion of illegally separating the child from the parents.

The law enforcement found the families whose children were [illegally] adopted by foreign nationals, recorded that families of adopted children lived in extremely difficult conditions.

What is noteworthy is that law enforcement also discovered how the suspects in the criminal case somehow revealed the identity of the needy families and personally went and found them.

Moreover, according to the exclusive information obtained by Zhoghovurd daily, the law enforcement will soon enter the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs within the scope of this criminal case as there are Ministry employees involved in the process.
