During the 4th Digital Belt and Road Conference held from December 17 to 19 in Shenzhen, Head of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia Artak Piloyan and head of the Digital Belt and Road Initiative Huadong Gou signed a memorandum of cooperation, as reports the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre of Armenia.
The Initiative serves as a major international platform for exchanging knowledge, experience, technologies and data. The aim of the Initiative is to promote international cooperation and enhance programs for creating data and a toolkit to explore the surface of the Earth that are aimed at solving environmental and social challenges in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In his speech, Head of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the Committee Artak Piloyan stated that the Cadastre Committee would like to expand the mutual cooperation within the scope of the Digital Belt and Road Initiative and said the Committee was willing to play a major role in the implementation of the Initiative.
There will soon be reciprocal visits during which joint projects for effective management of Digital Big Earth Data will be agreed upon and developed.
