YEREVAN. – The Investigative Committee of Armenia has solved the murder of a minor in Ararat Province, and one person has been detained in this connection.

On December 23, at 6:10 pm, police received a call from Masis town hospital that a minor resident— born in 2002—of Masis, and with stab wounds on his neck and chest, had died on the way to hospital, the Investigative Committee informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Investigative Committee launched a criminal case into this incident.

On the same day, a 17-year-old resident of the same town was detained on suspicion of committing the aforesaid crime.

His clothing was seized, there were blood stains on it, and a stab wound on his right hand.

Several forensic examinations have been appointed.

The investigation continues.
