Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Artak Davtyan isn’t rushing to comment on the case of fixed-term serviceman Artur Ajamyan, who was murdered on December 2, 2019.

During a press conference, the army general recalled that a criminal case has been instituted and investigation is underway. “It would be wrong to make any comment in this stage,” Davtyan stated. Nevertheless, he informed that an official investigation is underway. “It is impossible to answer any question in such a short period of time. The expert examination is in progress, and we’re waiting for the conclusion of the law-enforcement authorities,” Davtyan stated.
