An unknown assailant attacked passers-by in Paris suburb on Friday. The attacker was shot dead by police, AFP reported.
"The stabbing happened near the park Hautes-Bruyères in Villejuif, one of Paris southeastern suburbs. The attacker was shot dead by police in a neighbouring suburb," the source noted.
Two more people were reportedly injured.
