Minister of Economy of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Armenia Michael Johannes Banzhaf and Director of Berlin Economics Ricardo Gucci, reports the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.

Greeting the guests, the minister stated that the work of the past months shows that success has been recorded and that there are major plans for the future.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the minister for the reception and stated the following: “It is nice to see that the Ministry of Economy of Armenia has established the Center for Support to Investors, which will facilitate the implementation of activities with foreign investors and cooperation with Berlin Economics. We would also be glad to discuss our future cooperation.”

The minister attached importance to correct formulation of the investment opportunities in Armenia for German investors. The parties agreed to identify several sectors that are currently more interesting for German businessmen to make investments. The participants of the meeting also considered the opportunities for holding an Armenian-German business forum in the fall.

Director of Berlin Economics Ricardo Gucci stated that Berlin Economics has established effective cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and the Center for Support to Investors and is glad to cooperate with the ministry in the field of economic research.
