"We have recently received the decision of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)," he added. “I am glad to inform you that Yerevan has been selected the venue holding the EBRD 2021 annual meeting.

The [EBRD] annual meeting is the most important event of the Bank. That is, in Spring 2021, Armenia will be in the spotlight of 69 EBRD member countries as well as other guests. This is an important achievement and a worthy assessment given to the progress Armenia recorded in both the political and economic spheres.

And from this very moment we are starting working to hold the event at the highest level."
