The level of economic activity in Armenia increased in January-September 2019, said Armenian finance minister Atom Janjughazyan on Tuesday.
His remarks came at a meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs at the discussion of the report on the execution of the state budget for the 9 months of 2019.
According to him, economic activity amounted to 7.1%, which is 0.8% higher than in 2018. In the first nine months of 2019, industry grew by 9.7%. Industrial growth was mainly driven by manufacturing growth. The mining industry has also made a positive contribution to the growth of this industry. The growth was 3.5% and reached 19.5%.
