YEREVAN. – The government is conducting an audit in Vanadzor, where there is a reference to the Bright Armenia party (BAP). Edmon Marukyan, the chairman of this opposition party and head of the Bright Armenia faction in parliament, said this at a press conference today.

"The [Vanadzor] municipality has numerous SNCOs, kindergartens, community institutions, houses of culture," he emphasized. “And one of the questions in that audit is as follows: to find out who are from Bright Armenia in the institutions, and so on. What is this after the revolution? How should I describe? A clear political order has been given to find out if there are any BAP-member employees in Vanadzor institutions. There is no other party name. Our representatives have photographed that plan, sent it to us, we are awaiting clarifications related to it."
