YEREVAN. – On Monday, at 5:50pm, the national crisis management center of Armenia received a report that a grassy area was burning near a restaurant in Yerevan.

The fire turned out to be in the area of the military unit of Erebuni Airport, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The fire was extinguished at 6:33pm.

But 1.5 hectares of vegetation, 5 trees, 6 tires, and 6 empty containers of fuel lubricants were burned down.

Twelve servicemen from the military unit also participated in the firefighting.
