The investigation of a criminal case under investigation by the Investigative Committee of Armenia has determined that Zarzand Grigoryan, a resident of Arshaluys village Armavir Province, being the community leader, had abused his official position and signed orders to appoint persons who did not meet the respective requirements as principals to the village art school and kindergarten.

Grigoryan has been charged under the Criminal Code article on carrying out publicly dangerous acts.

The criminal case, along with the indictment, has been sent to the prosecutor overseeing the investigation.

Zarzand Grigoryan is the nephew of ex-MP, General Manvel Grigoryan, who himself faces criminal charges.
