On Tuesday, at 5:45pm, the national crisis management center of Armenia received a report that a car had fallen into Lake Sevan, at Tsovagyugh village of Gegharkunik Province, and one person was injured.

It turned out that the car had gone off road on the Yerevan-Dilijan motorway and fallen into Lake Sevan.

The driver (Sayat M., born in 1979) was taken to Sevan town hospital where his health condition was assessed as satisfactory.

Rescuers pulled the car out of the water using special equipment.
