YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) operative group, which has been set up along the lines of the fight against coronavirus in Armenia, held its first meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Harutyunyan.

They discussed the degree of readiness of MES divisions and their cooperation with other state agencies in a state of emergency, the MES information service informed.

The aforementioned divisions carry out a specially enhanced service.

At the end of the meeting, Harutyunyan conveyed the instruction of the Minister of Emergency Situations: to work with 24/7 availability, and to perform additional functions if necessary.
