Mass protests that have been held in the US after the death of African American George Floyd influenced the policies of various companies that intend to remove racist logos from their products, Reuters reported.
Thus, PepsiCo Inc noted on Wednesday it will change the name and brand image of its Aunt Jemima pancake mix and syrup which have been slammed as racist.
Mars Inc also plans to change the packaging of Uncle Ben's rice products, which features an elderly African American who worked for a Texas farmer.
The corporations noted that they intend to end racial prejudice.
