President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan participated in the celebrations on Victory Day in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on May 9.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, on May 8, within the frameworks of solemn events celebrating the Victory Holiday, the Day of the NKR Defense Army and the Liberation of Shoushi, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan were present at a Divine Liturgy at Ghazanchetsots church of Christ the Savior in Shoushi.

The Presidents also attended the solemn event dedicated to the May 9 Triple holiday held at Stepanakert youth and culture palace.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, representatives of diplomatic missions laid wreaths on Monday at the monument to Unknown Solider in the Yerevan Victory Park. Armenian and Russian soldiers marched near the monument after minute silence.

May 9 marks Victory Day, Day of the NKR Defense Army and the Liberation of Shoushi.
