Researchers have confirmed the link between blood type and severe coronavirus cases, MK reported.

Accordingly, it has been determined that people with the Group A blood face the greatest risk of suffering from a severe case of this disease.

On the other hand, those with Group O blood have a lower risk of having a severe case of COVID-19.

This finding was made by researchers from Chinese medical institutions, Iranian universities, as well as Columbia University in the US.
