Saudi authorities have lifted a nationwide curfew.

Riyadh allowed resuming all commercial activities. However, international flights are still prohibited.

Today, Saudi Arabia is the country most affected by COVID-19 on the Arabian Peninsula. According to the latest data, over 154 thousand cases have been reported there, while the death toll is 1.2 thousand.

Mosques have reopened throughout the country with only 50 people are allowed to be inside. 

However, the authorities have not decided whether to mark Hajj - an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the holiest city for Muslims - or not.

Meanwhile, Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, and Malaysia decided to ban the event this year.
