Former Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili filed a lawsuit against Credit Suisse for at least $ 300 million, Bloomberg reported.

Ivanishvili lost over $ 100 million due to the actions of former Credit Suisse manager Patrice Lescaudron. The banker, to whom the richest man in Georgia entrusted his fortune, was sentenced by a Geneva court in early 2018 to prison for forging signatures and falsifying transactions, News Georgia reported.

Ivanishvili decided to continue the trial - the billionaire believes that the Swiss bank was aware of the machinations of one of its former managers, but did nothing to prevent this.
