The second round of parliamentary elections in 17 single-member constituencies in Georgia will take place on November 21, said Giorgi Sharabidze, Deputy Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia, on Friday.

Parliamentary elections in Georgia were held on October 31. A total of 48 parties and 2 political blocs vied for the 150 parliamentary seats. After counting the ballots, the leader was the ruling Georgian Dream party—with 48.22% of the vote.

But the opposition does not accept the results of the voting, considering that they are rigged, and refuses to join the new parliament. In this connection, the opposition staged several protests in front of the parliament and CEC buildings in the capital Tbilisi. They are going to hold another rally on Saturday.
