The MPs of the ruling My Step bloc of Armenia are not particularly trying to occupy the empty seats in the National Assembly (NA) Sessions’ Hall.
Lawmakers seem to have more important things to do than discuss the 2021 draft budget.
Earlier in the day, the MPs of the opposition Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia factions boycotted the current agenda of the parliament and demonstratively left the sessions’ hall. They demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and insisted on holding a special NA session in this regard.
