The research conducted by Armenia’s Commission for Protection of Economic Competition revealed monopolists in country’s coffee market, commission informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Cafe du Brazil”, “Grand Candy”, “Viva Argo” have leading role in the whole bean coffee market with sales amounting to 85.66%.

Meanwhile, “Aleks Grig”, “Armen-Amik” and “Royal Armenia” are leaders in ground coffee market with 72.87% of sales.

During the Wednesday session Commission decided to initiate administrative proceedings against  “Royal Armenia” and “Viva Argo” companies for violation of requirements on providing information.
