A ‘very low intensity’ device exploded near the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi, Associated Press reported, citing the police. There are no victims and injured persons.
New Delhi police officers report that the explosion only damaged the glass windows of three cars parked near the embassy.
According to preliminary investigation, the incident may have been ‘a mischievous attempt to create a sensation’.
Police have encircled the scene of the explosion. Investigation is underway.
