YEREVAN. - A gang involved in drug trafficking and abuse was arrested in Armenia.

Employees of Armenia Police have recently arrested a large group involved in drug trafficking. According to reliable information, among those arrested is Vachagan Azizyan, nicknamed “Gndi Vacho”, who imported large quantities of drugs to Armenia for the recent 10 years,” Zhamanak newspaper reports.

“Over the past seven years he was acting under the patronage of some officials,” the newspaper writes.
