During the interview with Prime Minister, the journalist of 1in.am reminded the accusation that the main reason for the misfortunes is having a populist government in Armenia.

The PM said what is meant by "populist government."

"Is the key to success in Armenia to have a corrupt government? Is that what it means? As they say, let's tell it like it is. Maybe I also said publicly that, sadly, there was an established ‘institution,’ there was only one fully established ‘institution’ in Armenia, and that ‘institution’ was corruption. We came after the revolution [in 2018], we destroyed the only established ‘institution’ in Armenia: systemic corruption," said the PM.

"And it turned out that the other institutions do not have that degree of being established to be able to work at least without corruption," Pashinyan added.
