Austrian Health Minister Rudolf Anschober announced the third wave of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, OE 24 reports.

Anschober said that new, stricter security requirements - including travel restrictions between parts of the country - have shown their effectiveness: in those Austrian states where they were purposefully introduced, the epidemiological situation has improved. According to the minister, now it is necessary to take into account any risks.
