The White House still believes there is a need for an independent, transparent investigation into the origins and spread of the coronavirus, the press secretary of the White House Jen Psaki noted.
She did not answer the question of whether the administration has evidence that the pandemic was caused by a virus leak from a laboratory in Wuhan.
A WHO investigation earlier this year found that a leak in the Wuhan lab was highly unlikely.
