GYUMRI. – The three cemeteries of Gyumri city have no land for dead to bury, director of Memory Forever Company Hovhannes Yeganyan told and added that the problem is unsolved for over five years. They turn to corresponding institutions with no results so far.

“Gyumri N1 cemetery is officially closed since 1984, however funerals are still held. The other cemetery also has run out of lands five years ago,” Yeganyan told.

Cemeteries have already reached to residential areas and people are dissatisfied with the fact. According to him, the situation of giving lands for cemeteries unofficially will continue until the government gives new areas.
