YEREVAN. – The Heritage party will attend sessions of the National Assembly (Armenian parliament) when considers it appropriate, Heritage MP Armen Martirosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“It can be in fall, as spring session is already over. In case there is new snap session, Heritage will attend according to appropriateness or extreme necessity,” stated MP and added that Heritage MPs do not attend parliament sessions, but carry their other responsibilities.

Martirosyan told that the decision not to attend the sessions and Heritage leader Raffi Hovhannisyan’s hunger-strike were directed to society and justified it. Moreover, they will try to rescue the state from crisis with the assistance of society, and if necessary through snap solutions.

Heritage group started the protest actions in the form of partial suspension motivated by dissatisfaction with new memorandum of ruling coalition in Armenia.
