Armenian and Russian Presidents had a phone conversation during which Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on his 57th birthday.

Sargsyan thanked for congratulation and for hospitality shown during recent meeting in Kazan and also constructive talks of Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani presidents, Kremlin press service informs. 

“Armenia steadily moves towards the way of state building, social-economical transformations, and strengthening position of the state in the international arena under your leadership.

I believe that mutual intention to deepen multi-faceted bilateral relations, enhanced economic cooperation and close coordination in regional associations are the most important factors in further strengthening of the Armenian-Russian strategic partnership for peace and stability in the Caucasus,” the congratulation reads.
