Kiev hosted the official welcoming ceremony of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych near Ukrainian Presidential residence.

A military band played the anthems of both countries and the leaders of the two states reviewed the guard of honor. Later the official delegations were introduced, UKRINFORM reports.

Presidents Sargsyan and Yanukovych will meet tete-a-tete. Bilateral documents are expected to be signed at Ukrainian-Armenian talks in an extended format, chaired by the two leaders. Following the talks, the Presidents will meet with mass media representatives.

The presidents are also expected to attend the Ukrainian-Armenian business forum.
