KIEV. - Armenia is keenly interested in cooperation with Ukraine in foreign policy, trade and economic and humanitarian spheres, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan stated at Ukrainian-Armenian talks in Kiev, RBK-Ukraina reports.

He stressed that trade turnover between the two countries has significantly increased since early 2010.

President Sargsyan recalled it was his first official visit to Ukraine within the recent 10 years, adding it does not reflect the current level of relations between the two states.

The Armenian leader expressed hope Ukraine will contribute to peace and freedom in the region, when it takes up chairmanship in the OSCE.
