YEREVAN.- Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on Monday Secretary General of the UN World Tourism Organization (WTO) Taleb Rifai.

Prime Minister stressed that development of tourism is one of priorities of the government adding Rifai’s visit to Armenia will give a new impetus to the cooperation in this field.

In his turn Taleb Rifai said UNWTO is eager to help Armenia pointing out impressive results achieved in this field in 2010, government’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The sides discussed efforts aimed at making Armenia an attractive tourist destination and conduction of joint educational programs.
