YEREVAN. - The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) demanding dialogue from the authorities raises sophistical question the answer to which suggests nothing good for the authorities, said Armenian sociologist Aharon Adibekyan.
“ANC offers the authorities to hold talks regarding snap elections. If the authorities say “yes” it means it is bad leadership, if they say “no” they will take on the role of dictators,” he said.
Topic of early elections is ANC’s favorite one, as they have no other way, sociologist considers.
Adibekyan stressed that the opposition does not have resources to solve economic problems, instead it tries to show some activity in the political arena.
“ANC turned from radical opposition to moderate one, striving to be closer to the center [of political spectrum] to achieve power,” he added.
