YEREVAN. - In Jan.-May 2011 prices in Armenia went 5% up, says the report issued by CIS Interstate Statistical Committee.

Belarus registered the highest rise in prices among CIS states, 25.4% in the mentioned period. The second is Tajikistan with 6.9% inflation followed by Kyrgyzstan – 6.5%.

Prices went up by 5.5% in Ukraine and by 4.9% in Moldova. Russia shared the place with Kazakhstan (4.8%).

Azerbaijan registers the lowest inflation among CIS states – 3.4%.

The report says industrial growth in CIS states went up by 5.9% as compared with the same period of 2010.
The highest industrial growth was registered in Belarus – 12.5%, while in Armenia it was 10.3%. A 1.1% decline was registered in Azerbaijan.

Consumer inflation in CIS states made 5.8% in Jan.-May 2011.
