YEREVAN. – Armenian deputy FM Karine Kazinian received Zainol Abidin Bin Omar, newly appointed Malaysian Ambassador to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on Tuesday on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Deputy FM expressed hope that the accreditation of the Malaysian Ambassador to Armenia will contribute to the deepening the Armenian-Malaysian relations, creating a strong basis for their further development, Ministry’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Newly appointed Ambassador noted that his country is interested in establishing relations with Armenia and his appointment is a proof of that commitment. He assured that he would do his utmost to develop bilateral relations.

The sides discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation. Particularly the importance of the cooperation in the international organizations, as well as the regular contacts on the level of the permanent representatives of the two countries was stressed.

Deputy FM and the Ambassador touched upon the issues related to the regional cooperation.
