YEREVAN. - Armenian authorities are open to discuss with opposition any sound suggestion and even make certain compromises, said the Speaker of Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan at a press conference.

“We will voice our approaches for the dialogue in a short time, but the format of the dialogue is quite acceptable for us, which is a manifestation of real tolerance,” said the Speaker touching upon the possible dialogue between opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) and the authorities.

He mentioned that National Assembly may become a plurality forum. As of forthcoming Parliamentary elections, the speaker said that his party (ruling Republican party of Armenia) will work at its best to ensure fair and transparent elections.

“We will do our best for RPA to gain the majority of voices. Our work will be an illustration of it. If one do not work productively, one cannot blame the others for that,” said Abrahamyan.
