YEREVAN.- It seems Russia is trying to retain its leading role in the Karabakh peace process and moreover is striving to reach results at any cost, writes the Armenian Chorord Ishkhanutyun newspaper.

“It was not revealed what proposals the Russian side is offering. There was no official statement as well. However, the fact that Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said progress will be possible if Baku withdraws ten amendments put forward in Kazan, indicates that Medvedev’s proposals contain these amendments or part of them,” the newspaper writes.
