YEREVAN.- At last the authorities realized they have to do nothing but dialogue with the opposition, said member of the opposition Armenian National Congress Bagrat Asatryan.

“There are many problems in different areas: foreign policy, economy, culture – everything is dying,” he said.

Government-opposition dialogue will revive atmosphere in the country, supporters of first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan will not be considered enemies any more. They will not be jailed and dismissed, he added.

The opposition member labeled snap elections as a reasonable move adding that gaining legitimate power is in Armenia’s interests.

“In this case not a single agency or magazine [Forbes ranked Armenia the second in world’s worst economies list] will dare to say that Armenia is the worst country in the world,” he said.
